The structure is curved both in plan and on elevation, representing a stunning breaking wave. The interior theme of the hotel draws upon the four elements of nature: Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Each element is represented by a color scheme that divides the hotel into four different levels; soothing blues and greens for Water, homely browns and reds for Earth, relaxing blues and white for Air and striking reds and yellows depicting a vibrant sun.

The theme of nature’s four elements is carried throughout the bedrooms and corridors, culminating in the Atrium, which features a 90-metre high wall sculpture. The sculpture depicts a satellite view of the earth, complete with a galaxy of stars and a moon in orbit, with the United Arab Emirates at its centre. At the base of the sculpture, an expanse of ocean represents Water, the land mass depicts Earth, a vast stretch of sky indicates Air, while a red glowing sun is situated at the very top of the Atrium.

• The gymnasium features 60 pieces of equipment, extensive cardiovascular area and a separate free weights section. The gym occupies 400 square meters and has full height glazing, giving fantastic views over the Resort and Marina. Personal training programs are also available with our qualified instructors.

• The Health Suite incorporates two saunas, three hot tubs, steam room, Jacuzzi, plunge pool and two massage rooms. Treatments offered include aromatherapy, reflexology, shiatsu and facials.

• The Group Fitness Room covering 170 sq. m. fully equipped with ballet rails and mirrors. Fitness classes are regularly held including Yoga, Karate Classes, RPM, Body Pump and Body Combat

• The leisure pool (main pool) features a walk in Jacuzzi, chilled plunge pool and submerged airbeds amongst other features. A swim-up pool bar is located at the shallow end of the pool

• The family pool is surfaced in synthetic rubber material and the pool has a walk in ‘beach’ effect at one end and a rock wall incorporating a water slide at the other end.

• Adjacent to the family pool is a shallow children’s pool, ideally located right next door to Sinbad’s Kid’s Club. It is also rubber surfaced, shaded and contains water play equipment.

• The fourth pool is a 25-metre lap training pool overlooked by a seating terrace on one side.

Other Outdoor Facilities include:

• Seven floodlit competition standard tennis courts, one of which is multipurpose to include volleyball and basketball.

• A mini putting green and golf driving nets.

• Three sandy beaches offering beach butler service.

• A Family Adventure Park, consisting of raised walkways with a variety of play features including swings, slides, climbing structures, tunnels and rope walkways. The equipment is padded for user safety. This area is closed during the summer months due to the heat.

• Water sports on offer include sailing, water skiing, snorkeling, wind surfing, scuba diving, kayaking, boogie boarding, wake boarding and banana boating.

Sinbad’s Kids Club
Sinbad’s Kids Club is a clubhouse designed like a ship close to the Family Pool, offering a program of activities for children aged 2-12 years old, under the supervision of very highly trained and qualified staff. Children from age 2 – 4 years should be accompanied by a parent or babysitter after 12pm. The Club opens from 8am to 9pm and includes a ground floor activity room, nappy changing room, nursing area and library. A babysitting service is also available.

The Apartment
The Apartment is a unique concept of a ‘home away from home’. Surrounded by the lavish interior of a residential apartment, this elegant fine dining restaurant is complete with Bar, Music Room, Cellar and Dining Room. The Apartment offers an a la carte menu prepared from the finest ingredients and best seasonal produce with a light approach to European cooking style.

Villa Beach Restaurant
The Villa Beach Restaurant is a perfect panorama of a ‘holiday of a lifetime’. It offers breathtaking views of the blue waters and the sunset - a perfect place to relax and unwind. This restaurant offers an a la carte menu featuring Mediterranean cuisine.

La Parrilla
La Parrilla is the first and only Argentinean restaurant in the region, which boasts of live cooking. Its Latin influences will tantalize your palate, but we say in Argentina, truth is in the tasting. Make your choices from original South American appetizers and salads before we serve you your main course. ‘Espada’ – a large beef skewer cooked and flambéed to perfection is not to be missed.  La Parrilla comes alive with tango dancers and musicians situated on the 25th floor facing the city and the sea.

Al Khayal
Al Khayal is a traditional Lebanese restaurant that is styled after an Arabic tent. The restaurant offers the guest the very best selection of Lebanese cuisine and other Middle Eastern dishes.

Palm Court
The Palm Court has all the ingredients for the perfect early, afternoon or late tea, or for pre and post dinner drinks. Offering beautiful views of the lush gardens, guests can enjoy a variety of specialty teas, coffees, cocktails, beers, snacks and pastries at competitive prices. Der Keller

Take a trip along the Marina breakwater to one of Dubai’s most invigorating venues. The Marina Seafood Market with its elegant décor offers the freshest and finest seafood in the Gulf, displayed on a especially designed seafood show table. The Colonnade
An around – the – world culinary journey awaits you at The Colonnade, featuring daily buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as an international à la carte menu. Located on the ground floor with outdoor terrace overlooking lush gardens, The Colonnade consists of four areas - the Bamboo Curtain, the Bistro Café, Soda Fountain and the Viennese Café, all with a lunch and dinner buffet available.

Dhow & Anchor
The Dhow and Anchor doubles as a traditional British pub and a family restaurant. Those who enjoy their beverages are well accommodated in the cozy pub area where several draught beers are served as well as other bar drinks.
The restaurant has two dining areas, one located inside and the other on the terrace area. The inside area is cozy and reflects a typical pub style. The stunning terrace descends over three levels and affords spectacular views of the pool, gardens, and Burj Al Arab.
