Madinat
Jumeirah is the new city of Arabia and is the only
authentically Arabian-styled resort in Dubai featuring
unique UAE architecture and design. This luxury beachfront
resort captures the natural beauty of the region in a true
re-creation of ancient architectural proportions. This
awe-inspiring destination encompasses two grand boutique
hotels, clusters of traditional Arabic summer houses, the
most comprehensive conference, incentives and banqueting
facilities, an authentic ancient souk and a world-class Six
Senses Spa.
Mina A’Salam
The first completed phase of Madinat Jumeirah opened its
doors in September 2003. Mina A’ Salam, The gateway to
Madinat Jumeirah features 292 rooms and suites. With its
unique shape and omnipresent wind towers, this graceful,
sand-colored property heralds a step back in time – yet
modern facilities and luxurious interiors provide a
destination of unrivalled qualities.
Mina A’ Salam offers significant conference and banqueting
facilities in the form of a junior ballroom “Majlis Al Mina”
and the main ballroom “Majlis Al Salam.” The two can seat
110 and 350 guests respectively. The prime location,
distinctive theme and luxuriously equipped interiors make
Mina A’ Salam an ideal choice for small to mid-size
conferences.
Al Qasr
Elevated to emphasize its Splendour, Al Qasr, which
literally translates to ‘the Palace’, is the heart of the
resort and designed to reflect a Sheikh’s summer residence.
In ancient times, the lighter pigments used to paint grand
homes symbolized wealth and importance and Al Qasr reflects
such tradition in tones which are noticeably lighter than
adjacent properties. Approached via a ceremonial causeway,
this majestic palace-style hotel rises up to form the jewel
in the crown of the world's most sublime resort and
authentic re-creation of 'old Arabia'. Surrounded by water,
Al Qasr forms a virtual island looking down upon a multitude
of fascinating aspects: ancient wind towers, pools,
meandering waterways and the superb private beach.
Linked by waterways to all resort areas, guests can travel
from Al Qasr by water taxi to the Six Senses Spa, the
bustling Souk Madinat Jumeirah, a restaurant, an event or
performance in this city of sensory sensation.
Dar Al Masyaf
The traditional courtyard summer houses of “Old Arabia” have
inspired these beautifully designed stand-alone, two-storey
residential retreats. Dar Al Masyaf is an intimate hideaway
within Madinat Jumeirah. Dar Al Masyaf, lives up to its
translation – summer house – with guests being enveloped
with a mood of relaxation and escape. The houses feature 8
to 11 rooms and suites which are extended across the resort
grounds, surrounded by landscaped gardens, with some located
on the beachfront. |
